Under the pseudonym Pérez de la Rosa, there is a self-taught artist, passionate about art, architecture and interior design. Despite the circumstances that prevented him from dedicating himself fully to these disciplines, he has finally made the decision to focus completely on them. His professional career of more than 30 years has been developed in business areas of prominent IT companies worldwide.

The artist uses various techniques and materials with oil and acrylic paints, always trying to be respectful of the environment. The artist's works, especially those made of wood, are very limited due to the complexity and laboriousness of both the elaboration of the support itself and the creation of the work itself with the different elements included to give it texture and relief.

The artist's works are original and unique. All of them are catalogued, signed and numbered. The use of oil paint is mainly done on cotton canvas, while acrylic paint is used for works made on wood. The wooden frames, made entirely by hand from the acquisition of the wood to the preparation of the work surface itself, are made with a minimum of a double layer of gesso with plaster and, in many cases, mixed with fibers such as raffia , straw, hay, sand, volcanic stones and other recycled materials. These elements provide textures to the work that revitalize and enhance its expression, in many cases being low relief.
